Collecting cemeteries

Death culture teaches us a lot about how different regions and countries live with their deceased. What are the differences between the cemeteries? How do they decorate the tombstones of their loved ones? How do you feel when walking there? How is the space used? What is written on the tombstones? These are all questions I ask myself when roaming cemeteries.

These are places full of mysteries and hidden stories. And although I am always cautious of violating privacy of the dead, I am also curious about the borders od their privacy. But always with a loving eye towards the dead.
